2025-2026 school Information

General information for the 2025-2026 School Year!!

Commodore Staff are gearing up for another great school year!  School starts July 31st, below is some general information about our daily schedule.

General Information

  • Gates Open at 7:30am
    • Students may enter through entry gates along our parking lot,
    • Front of the school through Michigan
    • Back of school on  Alpine Ave.
  • Breakfast Starts: 7:30am
  • School Starts: 8:00am
  • There is a drop-off lane in the front of the school on Michigan.  If you are walking your child to the front of school, please park further down Michigan so that you are not blocking the drop-off lane. 
  • Dismissal:
    • TK and Kinder: 2:00
      • Early Release Every Tuesday: 12:37
    • 1st grade - 8th grade: 2:10
      • Early Release Every Tuesday: 12:47
  • Visitors/Guests/Volunteers on campus must enter through school office and check in.
  • TK & Kinder Parents can walk their child to class for the first week of school.
  • We do not call classrooms after 2 pm for early pickups.  Please wait till dismissal.

What is the student cell phone policy?

  • All schools in Stockton Unified follow the adopted cell phone policy.  This Policy can be found throught this link:  CELL PHONE POLICY

Is there a dress code policy?

When is Back to School night?

  • Grades TK-3: Monday August 11th 5:00-6:30 pm
  • Grades 4th -8th : Thursday, August 14th 5:00-6:30 pm

How do I know what classroom materials my child will need this year? 

  • All classroom tools and items needed by each student will be provided by the school.  If you would like to contribute snacks, cleaning items, tissue paper, or similar items, contact your teacher directly. 

Does Commodore have an after-school program?  If so, how do I enroll my child?

  • Commodore does offer an after-school program.  The program currently has a waiting list.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis and was held in May.  The program facilitator has notified/will notify families that are on the waiting list as spots become available. Do I have to pay for my child's meals?

  • All students receive free breakfast and lunch.

 How will my child find their class?

  • We will have plenty of staff directing students who may need help finding their classrooms.  Middle school students will receive their schedules during their first period class.  Class lists will be posted at the front of the school office on the first day of school. We highly recommend that you check your class assignments and schedules through Parent Vue. Please register for Parent Vue through this link PARENTVUE LINK

Why do I need to register with ParentSquare?

  • The district has changed its mass messaging system.  This new system is called Parent Suare.  This will be the primary form of communication from classrooms and the school.  More information will be available soon.  You can download the app through Google Play or the App Store.  You can also login in to ParentSquare with this link: PARENTSQUARE

How can I become a volunteer for the school or classroom?

  • To be able to volunteer, you need to sign up through the BE A MENTOR WEBSITE and have fingerprinting completed.
